Lucky for us, we know exactly where to wolf down food to our hearts’ content without hurting our wallets. Cebu City has so many buffet restaurants that are budget-friendly and easily accessible. For under Php500, you can eat ‘til you drop and come back as regularly as you would like because they’re affordable and gastronomically delightful.

Cabalen is an all-Filipino buffet restaurant that specializes on Kapampangan food. They are famous for their different versions of sisig, Pritchon, and bringhe (Pampanga’s version of paella.) They also serve appetizers, main dishes, and desserts – all this for Php298 on all days, both lunch and dinner. 

Cabalen is located at the Lower Ground Floor, Mountain Wing, SM Seaside City Cebu, SRP (South Road Properties). They are open daily 10AM – 9PM.

Mako Barato Meals

For Php299, you will get unlimited pork belly, Chicken Inasal, Sisig, baked scallops, lumpia, butterfly squid, Wak-Wak (chicken) wings, and chicken bites at Mako Barato Meals. They also serve (not unlimited) grilled shrimps for Php150 per serving. Special offers are available on weekends for different prices with unlimited rice and more inclusions.

Mako Barato Meals is located at MJ Cuenco, SRP — across Malacanang sa Sugbo or Plaza Independencia.  They are open daily from 3PM to 10PM daily.

Joven’s Grill

Joven’s Grill is a buffet restaurant that offers a variety of dishes – Filipino, American, Chinese and Japanese food. The real treat about Joven’s – you can go international for such an affordable rate of only Php299 per head. 

At Joven’s, you can also enjoy unlimited drinks – either soft drinks or juices of your own choice. For the health conscious, they offer salads and fruits.

Joven’s Grill is located at G/F Parkmall, Ouano Ave., Mandaue City. They are open daily from 11AM to 8:30PM.  

Chik Chow

Chik Chow Food Express Buffet is a Chinese-Filipino buffet restaurant is perfect for lone dining and group gatherings. They specialty dishes are unique because they are personally curated by the owner of the restaurant. The name of the restaurant is a combination of name of the owner’s son Buchik and the term “chow” meaning to eat. The actual restaurant is the ancestral home of the Lims, hence its homey aesthetic.

For only Php320, you will get an unlimited serving of around 14 dishes, two rice variants, two desserts, and two options of bottomless drinks – iced tea or lemonade. 

Chik Chow is located along 316 – C General Maxilom Avenue, Kamputhaw, Cebu City. They are open from 11AM – 2PM for lunch and 6PM – 10PM for dinner. 

Patio Isabel

One thing that sets Patio Isabel apart from the other restaurants in this list are their beautiful Spanish interiors, giving your dining experience here a nostalgic touch. For Php240, you will get an unlimited serving of classic and home-cooked Filipino dishes. Must try: Bistek and Kare-kare! Tagalog are their must-try dishes.

Patio Isabel is located at J. Panis Street, Banilad, Cebu City . They are open for lunch 11AM – 2PM and for dinner 6PM – 9:30PM.

Tongs Seafood Buffet

Ding Qua Qua Dimsum House

Ding Qua Qua Dimsum offers unlimited dimsum for an unbelievably low price – just Php348! That’s already equivalent to four servings of steamed rice; and who hasn’t dreamt of eating a bottomless serving of this dimsum dish? Not only that, all your favourite dimsum dishes are here – dumplings, fried spring rolls, pata tim, chinese bread and many more. 

Ding Qua Qua’s lunch buffet is 11AM – 2PM, while their dinner buffet is starts at 6PM-9PM. They are located at JY Square Mall Branch Lahug – Cebu City – 1 Salinas Drive, Lahug, Cebu City.

Isidra Comfort Cantina

Isidra Comfort Cantina is probably the restaurant that offers the most affordable lunch buffet deal – only Php149 only head. Their buffet includes soup, cold salads, pancit canton, pasta, 3 kinds of vegetable dishes, 3 kinds of meat dishes, 2 rice vatieties, and a free round of iced tea.

Kogi-Q is popular for their buffet deal that includes unlimited seafood and meat at a very cheap rate – Php290 per head (Parkmall and Pueblo Verde branches, Php399 at SM City Cebu and SM Seaside City). Their regular buffet rate comes with unlimted rice, bottomless iced tea, samgyeopsal, marinated pork belly, chilean mussels, chicken wings, innards, chorizo, squid, seafood balls, and cocktail hotdogs.
