Look no further than Anjo World, Cebu’s first world-class theme park!

Anjo World

Anjo World is Cebu’s first theme park located inside Belmont One Commercial Complex in Barangay Calajoan, Minglanilla. The whole area is 1.5 hectares wide. With 12 world-class rides and attractions, it currently holds the title of being the largest theme park in Visayas.

The planning and construction for Anjo World took five years. The amusement park inherited its name from the parents of Chester Lim, the president of Belmont One, namely Antonio and Josephine. Anjo World is a member of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions.

They first opened to the public on December 21, 2018. Since then, they have made rounds on the internet with guests taking photos and submitting reviews about the park online.

For snacks, brunch, and souvenirs, guests can also check out Caffe Colosseo, Anjo World’s own café and souvenir shop. Their parking lot can accommodate up to 200 vehicles.

They temporarily ceased operations in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They reopened on September 11, 2020.

Anjo World is now open Thursdays to Sundays, 12NN to 8PM.

Health and safety measures

Anjo World is operating at 50 percent capacity as per the government’s health and safety protocol.  They are also strictly observing measures like wearing of face masks, hand washing, non-contact services, physical distancing, temperature checking, and disinfection of facilities.

They have also obtained a Special Mayor’s Permit from the local government of Minglanilla and a Certificate of Compliance from Cebu Provincial Tourism Office as part of their legitimization initiatives to be operational.

Rides and rates

The normal rate is Php600 per person if you want to enjoy all rides and attractions; special discounts apply to students and PWDs.

Anjo World has attractions that were brought from manufacturers who are members of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, hence their claim as world-class. They have the country’s first spinning roller-coaster, the Pharaoh, and a 200 ft-tall ferris wheel they named Anjo Eye.

Snow World

Perhaps the most interesting attraction in Anjo World is their Snow World, their in-house ice theme park. It is hosted in a three-story building and housed in over 2,000 square meters of carefully crafted ice environment.

Snow World has hundreds of life-size ice sculptures and attractions inside. It is big enough to accommodate 500 people at a time.

SECURITY CHECK: Anjo World will conduct bag checks and permissive body checks at the main entrance of the park. Guests are reminded that certain items which may be regarded as dangerous or offensive may be prohibited from being brought inside the park. Persons under the influence of alcohol & or other intoxicated substance will be escorted out.

RIDE RESTRICTIONS: Park rides and attractions are restricted by height and or physical limitations established by ride manufacturers for your safety. Taking videos, pictures, and /or filming by a guest on a ride and the use extension poles (such as selfie sticks) is not allowed.
