The southern part of Cebu is said to have better beaches. Whether it is true or not, new resorts down south are ostensibly being built every now and then – and each one seems to reaffirm some beach goers’ partiality for the southern waters.

One such resort is Baybay Beach Resort in Dumanjug.

Baybay Beach Resort

Baybay Beach Resort is the newest addition to the list of local attractions in Dumanjug. It is owned by the Garcia’s who developed the property and are turning it into a premier resort that is sure to make rounds on social media by the time it is completed.

The word ‘baybay’ is Cebuano for beach or seaside, and the resort seems to embody what a fine beach is supposed to be like: white rocky sand, clear blue seawaters, a group of mangrove trees, rows of well-built cottages to accommodate groups of people, and a high standard of cleanliness that is manifest in all areas of the property.
