Cebu Safari and Adventure Park

Cebu Safari and Adventure Park is a world-class safari park and zoological garden located in Carmen, Cebu.

The Cebu Safari and Adventure Park is a premier safari park and a world-class zoological garden sprawled across the mountains of Barangay Corte, Carmen, a municipality in northern Cebu that is 50 kilometers north of Cebu City. The amenities inside are up to par and in an international standard that rivals animal parks and zoos worldwide. Cebuanos were excited during its grand opening in 2018 because it was sure to attract a lot of local and foreign visitors and boost local tourism especially in the town of Carmen.

Cebu Safari Zoo is a 170-hectare property owned by Michel J. Lhuillier, Cebuano pawnshop tycoon. Hotel accommodation and a 1.2-kilometer zip-line are currently being built in the property.

Cebu Safari Adventure Park also features other endemic fauna that include the Visayan spotted deer and Visayan warty pig.

Cebu Safari Tour

Cebu Safari is more than just an animal kingdom: it is also a world-class adventure park. Ticket inclusions are:

  • One-day admission to the Park
  • Access to all animal viewing areas
  • African Savanna Tour – a large enclosure that visitors tour on a safari truck. The area showcases grazing animals like zebra, kudu, impala and wildebeest. 
  • Bird Show – available 1:45-2:15PM
  • Michel’s Garden –  a landscaped terrace filled with 1.2 million orchid plants from the owner’s private collection.
  • Gardens of the World
  • Safari Tram ride (non-exclusive)

Cebu Safari Zoo schedule and rates

The park is open Wednesday to Sunday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Last entry/ticket selling is 2:00pm because it takes at least 3 hours to complete the tour. The Cebu Safari entrance fee is ₱800.00 for adults. There is 50% off for kids 2 to 3ft, and kids below 2ft enjoy free admission. Senior Citizens and PWD get a 20%.

Cebu Safari does not allow outside food and drinks to be brought inside the park. There are food outlets inside, with buffet (₱300/head) and a la carte options.

How to get to Cebu Safari and Adventure Park

Cebu Safari is located approximately 8km away from the National Road in Carmen, and two hours from Cebu City proper. The landmark is the Carmen National High School, so make a left turn before this school and follow the road signs. For convenience, it is recommended to bring your own vehicle or rent a van/car. The place is searchable via Waze or Google Maps.

It is better to have a reservation to guarantee your slot, as opposed to walk-ins. Cebu Safari is limiting visitors to just 2,000 per day at the meantime. You will not be allowed entry if you walk in and they are already full. You can we make our reservations by emailing [email protected] to book your dates.

They don’t accommodate reservations via cellphone or their Facebook Page, although for other queries you can reach them there. Contact numbers are 0929-196-8191 / 0945-301-3700. Payment can only be done with cash as they don’t accept credit cards yet.
