The Camp Cebu: Stripped-down Glamping Experience for Adventurers

The Camp Cebu is growing in popularity for providing their guests a stripped down, true glamping experience right in the heart of the city.

Feeling serene and being one with nature in such a busy metropolitan like Cebu City may seem like a stretch when all you see are tall buildings, cars lining up the streets, and pedestrians everywhere. But if one knows where to look, achieving tranquility and surrounding yourself with lush foliage isn’t so difficult.

Nestled in the mountainous barangay of Bonbon is a glamping experience that’s full of good food, good company, and all the trappings of the great outdoors – without the necessary hours of land trip.

What is The Camp Cebu?

The Camp Cebu is a glamour camping destination located in Barangay Bonbon, Cebu City. It is ideal for those who enjoy trekking and camping with the added perks of provincial food buffet and not needing to pitch a tent, since there are available accommodations.

The Camp Cebu is a one-hectare property that has seven cabanas or “payag” (nipa hut in English). The rows of payag or nipa huts are open air and embellished with humble beddings and mosquito nets.

The place does not have fancy amenities, but it takes pride in the solemnity of the property where guests can enjoy hearing crickets at night, seeing fireflies, being entirely surrounded by fauna and complete silence, and feeling the fog at night and in the early morning.

They have 4G signal so guests can access the internet using their own pocket WiFIs amid being seemingly in the middle of the forest.
