WordCamp Cebu is back for its second run! It is happening on February 29, 2020 at Bai Hotel Cebu, Mandaue City, so make sure to mark this on your calendar.
What is WordCamp Cebu?
A WordCamp is volunteer-run conference that discusses anything and everything WordPress, which is a free and open-source software that powers more than 34% of all the websites on the internet. Organizers and speakers do not get any rumination for their efforts, united only by passion and willingness to foster a community for WordPress users and lovers.
Tickets are sold to help pay for the event costs but the bulk of the funding is paid for by the sponsors. Designers, developers, entrepreneurs, bloggers, copywriters, consultants, hobbyists, employees who use WordPress as part of their job, people who make their living in WordPress, and WordPress enthusiasts attend WordCamps.
Since the first WordCamp organized in 2006 in San Francisco USA, local communities around the world have organized hundreds of others. The first WordCamp in Cebu was held in March 2019, and it was a huge success as the tickets were sold out and there were more attendees than was anticipated.
“WordCamp Org Cebu will be holding WordCamp Cebu 2020 with new speakers and topics.”
How to get WordCamp Cebu 2020 tickets

You should bring with you a valid ID. Registration starts at 8:30 AM. You may also want to bring your own laptop for the workshops and for taking notes during the conferences. Parking is available in SM Seaside City for those who are bringing their cars with them.
Access to the speakers’ presentations
The link to the speakers’ slides will be sent by the organizers via email once all the speakers have sent them. They can also be accessed on their website. Just a heads-up, it is the discretion of the speaker if they will want to provide the slides, so not all slides might be available. The video of the sessions will eventually also be uploaded to WordCamp.tv.
